Jon brings more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience, advising clients on the full lifecycle of real estate acquisition and occupancy. His expertise spans market analysis, site selection, build-to-suit projects, property management, and long-term real estate strategy, allowing him to provide thoughtful guidance tailored to each client’s unique goals.
Throughout his career, Jon has represented both landlords and tenants, successfully negotiating lease transactions for national retailers, junior box users, and small shop tenants. His hands-on experience with retail and restaurant development—including tenant improvements, infrastructure planning, and redevelopment—gives him a practical understanding of what it takes to transform a site from concept to completion.

Michael has been helping clients buy, sell, and lease commercial real estate since 2003. A graduate of Hanover College with degrees in Business Administration and Economics, Michael has built his career by guiding retailers, property owners, and investors through strategic real estate decisions while contributing to the continued growth of the Indianapolis market and the Hoosier state, of which he prides himself.
In addition to his commercial real estate expertise, Michael is the owner of three highly successful restaurants in the Indianapolis area. His firsthand experience as a business owner gives him a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities entrepreneurs face, allowing him to provide practical, real-world insight to clients looking to expand, relocate, or create something of their own.
Michael specializes in tenant representation, retail investment dispositions, and landlord leasing. He is an active member of ICSC participating in Next Gen initiatives, serves as a Council Chairman for ChainLinks Retail Advisors, and was recognized as a nominee for the Indiana Business Journal’s 40 Under 40. Known for his collaborative approach and entrepreneurial mindset, Michael is committed to helping clients achieve long-term success through thoughtful real estate strategies.
Thomas is the Founder and President of Thomas English Retail Real Estate. With more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, Tom has dedicated his career exclusively to retail, representing retailers, developers, investors, and property owners through every stage of the real estate lifecycle.
Tom began his career as a retail broker with CB Richard Ellis, where he specialized in tenant representation, land sales, shopping center leasing, and multi-location dispositions. His passion for retail real estate soon led him into development, where he co-founded Maquina Realty Corporation and successfully completed more than $30 million in acquisition and development projects before launching Thomas English Retail Real Estate in 2004.
Since founding the company, Tom has led the acquisition and development of more than 100 retail properties totaling over 1.27 million square feet with an aggregate value exceeding $400 million. Under his leadership, Thomas English Retail Real Estate has become trusted partners for national retailers, private investors, brokers and property owners, delivering strategic real estate solutions across the country.
Tom is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He remains passionate about identifying opportunities, building lasting relationships, and creating value through strategic retail real estate investments.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time with his three children, Chloe, Claire, and Cagan, and his beloved dog, Bella.
Kevin brings nearly 20 years of retail leasing experience to the metaCRE team. Before joining the firm, Kevin held leasing positions with Simon Property Group and Washington Prime Group, where he led several high-profile retail development and redevelopment projects for community, lifestyle, and power centers.
Since beginning his commercial real estate career in 2005, Kevin has successfully completed more than 400 retail lease transactions and has worked with a diverse mix of tenants, from national and regional brands to luxury, local, and anchor tenants. His extensive landlord representation experience and deep understanding of retail merchandising strategies allow him to create value for property owners while connecting retailers with the right opportunities.
At metaCRE, Kevin leads the firm’s retail leasing efforts, representing landlords and property owners in the marketing and leasing of retail properties throughout the Midwest. Known for his market knowledge, responsiveness, and relationship-driven approach, Kevin is committed to maximizing occupancy, strengthening tenant mix, and helping clients achieve long-term success through strategic leasing solutions.
James began his commercial real estate career with Thomas English Retail Real Estate as an intern while attending Wabash College, where he earned a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE). After graduating, he joined metaCRE full-time as a broker in 2022, building on his foundation in retail site selection, acquisitions, and development.
Today, James specializes in retail brokerage with a focus on tenant representation, landlord leasing, and investment sales. He represents developers and investors on site selection and acquisition opportunities nationwide while helping expanding retailers and restaurant concepts grow throughout Indiana. His client experience includes Mo’Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food, Yat’s Cajun Creole, Kan Pai Sushi, Thomas English Retail Real Estate, L2 Partners, STORE Capital, and a variety of other retailers, developers, and investors.
Known for his collaborative approach, strong work ethic, and attention to detail, James is committed to helping clients navigate every stage of the real estate process while delivering thoughtful solutions that support their long-term success.
Outside of work, James enjoys golfing, cheering on the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers, and coaching middle school basketball at St. Luke Catholic School.
Matt brings a diverse sales and real estate background to metaCRE, with experience spanning commercial and residential real estate, business-to-business sales, and the medical industry. He specializes in tenant and buyer representation, property acquisition, and investment opportunities across retail, office, industrial, and land.
Matt takes a client-first approach to commercial real estate, focusing on building strong relationships based on trust and providing clients with the insight they need to make informed decisions. A former collegiate athlete, he brings a competitive and tenacious mindset to negotiations and is passionate about helping clients navigate the real estate process to achieve the best possible outcome.
Matt earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Sports Management from Palm Beach Atlantic University and also studied Business Management at Florida Gulf Coast University. He is also a licensed insurance agent, giving him additional insight into property and casualty risks that can impact real estate owners and investors.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, sports, fishing, and fitness.
Brock brings a diverse background in brokerage, development, and operations experience to retail investment sales. Throughout his career, he has been involved in more than $500 million in commercial real estate transactions across retail, office, and industrial assets, including over $300 million in net lease retail investment sales nationwide.
Here at metaCRE, Brock specializes in the acquisition and disposition of single-tenant net lease properties, multi-tenant retail centers, and grocery-anchored shopping centers throughout the Midwest. His experience working alongside developers, owners, operators, and investors gives him a well-rounded perspective that allows him to guide clients through every stage of the investment process. Known for his honest market insight, strategic approach, and commitment to delivering results, Brock is dedicated to helping clients maximize value while building lasting relationships.
Outside of the office, Brock enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristen, and their Labrador Retriever, Charlie. Whether discovering new restaurants, spending time outdoors, fishing, or hunting, he values the relationships and experiences that come from time with family, friends, and clients.
Gianna brings extensive experience across commercial real estate, retail, restaurants, development, and business development to metaCRE. A relationship-driven dealmaker, Gianna has built her career connecting people, brands, and opportunities while helping businesses identify strategic locations, navigate expansion, and create long-term value through real estate.
Throughout her career, Gianna has worked alongside property owners, developers, operators, and both emerging and established brands. At metaCRE, she specializes in tenant representation, retail and restaurant expansion, and strategic business development, using her strong network throughout Indiana and beyond to create meaningful connections between clients and real estate opportunities.
A native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Gianna attended North Carolina State University and Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. She is also deeply committed to philanthropy and fundraising and believes in using her relationships to make a positive impact in the community. A former Miss Indiana State Fair, Gianna remains involved in the pageant community and has served as a judge for county pageants, Miss Indiana USA, and Miss Indiana Teen USA.
Outside of work and her community involvement, Gianna enjoys spending time with her daughter, Stella, and her fiancé, TJ. Whether working with clients or giving back to her community, Gianna brings the same relationship-focused approach and genuine passion for connecting people.
Barbara brings more than 38 years of commercial property management experience. Throughout her career, she has successfully managed a wide range of retail and commercial properties, from single-tenant assets to multi-million-dollar portfolios, including stabilized investments as well as properties navigating complex repositioning and receivership.
Barbara’s expertise spans every aspect of commercial property management, including tenant buildouts, landlord-directed relocations, capital improvement projects, and construction coordination. Her extensive operational knowledge and proactive approach help property owners protect their investments while delivering exceptional service to tenants.
In addition to her property management experience, Barbara is a licensed Managing Broker in the State of Indiana. She is known for her professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to building strong relationships with property owners, tenants, and service partners alike.
Marcel brings more than 15 years of property management experience to metaCRE, with a diverse background spanning multifamily, HOA, senior living, and commercial properties. Throughout his career, Marcel has developed extensive experience in property operations while building strong relationships with tenants, property owners, vendors, and the communities he serves.
Originally from Chicago, Marcel graduated from Indiana University Indianapolis with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. His experience, combined with a strong focus on communication and service, allows him to effectively navigate property and tenant needs while creating positive experiences for those he works with.
At metaCRE, Marcel serves as Assistant Shopping Center Manager, supporting the management and day-to-day operations of Perry Crossing. Known for his hands-on approach, responsiveness, and commitment to helping others, Marcel is focused on maintaining strong tenant relationships and supporting the long-term success of the property.
Outside of work, Marcel enjoys spending time with his fiancée, Alissa, and their blended family of five children—three girls and two boys. He also coaches football and basketball, using the opportunity to mentor young athletes and encourage their growth both on and off the field and court.
